What is Hypnosis?

As a general rule, in day to day life, 5% of our actions come from our conscious mind. Most of our actions are dictated by our subconscious mind and are the by-products of “learned” behaviors. Behaviors that we either were taught by various influences (such as our families, schools, cultures and life events) or behaviors that we developed as coping mechanisms in reaction to our circumstances.

We live most of our days “driving” on automatic, subscribing to these behaviors that are built into our subconscious.
​
Until one day we start to notice a behavior, or a thought or an emotion or a repeating pattern that is getting in the way of where we want to go or who we want to be.
​
In hypnosis sessions, we dig into the subconscious mind to find the root cause of the aspect of us that we want to understand or modify. Once we've become aware of the root cause, we are more empowered to make the change we want to make.

Note: hypnosis is not what it looks like on TV. you are fully conscious the whole time, the session merely puts you in an extremely relaxed state that allows the subconscious mind to emerge with information that you wouldn't naturally have access to in normal day to day life.
